On his debut for Lucky Dog Records, Jack Ingram makes it clear that he is a honky-tonk man in the grand tradition spanning from Merle to Earle. Ingram either wrote or co-wrote 11 of the 12 songs, enlisting the aid of such stellar tunesmiths as Bruce Robison, Todd Snider, Jim Lauderdale and Tom Littlefield.
